Right barabara kabisa (I am sorry if you don’t understand Swahili because there is no way to translate this)
I came across a post on Facebook saying that Jesus, one man, fed 5,000 people excluding women and children and we know women and children are usually more than the men, so lets say in total there were 12,000 people. But so that they do not throw stones and shut down my blog, let’s stick to 5,000.
The Facebook post continued to say that today, instead of one man feeding the 5,000. The 5,000 who are poor and vulnerable and are struggling to make ends meet are the ones feeding the 1 who live in the rich and lavish suburbs, drive big fuel guzzling cars and are nothing but manipulators.
Let’s explore Jesus feeding the 5,000 shall we?
13 When Jesus heard what had happened, he withdrew by boat privately to a solitary place. Hearing of this, the crowds followed him on foot from the towns. 14 When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed their sick.
Matthew 14:13-14 NIV
From the above it is evident that the 5,000 went to the 1 because they simply heard that Jesus was going to be in some solitary place. So Jesus used a boat across the sea of Galilee and people in thousands walked through towns. Mark says that people ran and as soon as Jesus was alighting the boat, he came across the multitude.
But why was He going to a solitary place? He had just heard that John The Baptist was beheaded by Herod and he needed some time alone. Despite him mourning, he saw the multitude and he was driven with compassion for them and the Bible says that He healed them.
Jesus first feeds them with His power. We see in Matthew 9, Jesus saying that he felt power come off Him because someone touched Him. That someone, the woman who bled for 12 years received healing. Now imagine healing a multitude, how much power gets off you?
Later, He feeds them with food. Why? Because religion was also still prevalent in the day. Should He have asked for an offering basket, they would have called Him all sorts of names like Him selling the anointing. Most Christians think that it is their right to get things from God anytime anywhere. Some will even ask, “Why did this God bring me to this world to suffer?”
They forget there is a cost to everything. David says, “I will not give unto the Lord that which doesn’t cost me nothing.” Jesus says that we should take his yoke and carry his burden. There is a cost to bear in this life either in the divine or demonic.
Genuine men of God will heal, plant, uproot and restore without asking you to pay for it. Most children of God will then think that that’s all because a man of God has planted them in a well-paying UN job. They will totally forget the anointing. Some will at best, give them some handouts but when the rain starts beating they rush back.
Sometimes they go and realize that well paying UN job cannot buy them a 600M house in Muthaiga and they need to increase and that’s when they come back to try and ‘rob’ the anointing. The forget that spiritual things are spiritually sustained
Carnal things are carnally sustained as well. No wonder people use the phrase, “Use money to get money.” This also explains why people need to incur expenses to register for expensive sports clubs for connections and also spend much to please the ‘high and mighty’.
Anything you get in the physical has to be sustained in the physical. Anything you get spiritually is spiritually sustained. If a man of God prays you into a job, no human, no matter of what caliber, cannot remove you from it using physical means.
Most children of God however are placed spiritually in high places by men of God and forget who they really are and why they are placed there in the first place. They forget they are there, just like Daniel and his friends, to establish the kingdom of God. They in turn get swallowed by the world and everything goes in shambles.
Remember, “You cannot cheat yourself into life!” There is a yoke that you should put on and a burden to carry. So what is this yoke? A yoke is that knot that you tie yourself onto the anointing. Christ said that His yoke is easy and His burden His light. Sadly, many don’t want to carry any burden.
Paul later said that no foundation can be laid except that of Jesus Christ. I want you to understand something; ‘Jesus’ is the name and ‘Christ’ is the anointing. In every generation till date, there are men who carried (and still carry) this anointing. It is the same anointing that qualifies men and fulfills this scripture that says, “More than these will you do” – John 14:12
Let’s explore the other world. Actually, there is much to learn about the dark side if you are always in doubt of this divine side. The devil cannot create anything. He doesn’t own any system. He just copies from the divine and defiles it.
A dark guy will go a dirty and ‘poor’ witchdoctor to get a certain job and they will pay some good dime for it. After getting the job, they will go back to the same witchdoctor and give them a thanksgiving offering. Later, if they want a higher position they will go back and give a much bigger offering.
People of the dark world know precisely how to get their things and how to sustain them. People of light give peanuts and expect to shake the heavenlies with their KES 1,000. They are fully convinced that they are doing the anointing a great service by sending KES 500 to the man of God who put them in a KES 500,000 job.
The people of the world know most spiritual secrets which apparently are coined from the kingdom of light and they put them to great use. On the other hand, children of God have to be begged to give. They have to be soothed into their own blessings. Other children of God will also advice others not to give.
Most of the people running the narrative of ‘The 5000 are feeding the 1’ are mostly bitter because they were hurt in their places of worship or were so impatient with God because they gave with a gambler’s mentality instead of the attitude of a sower. Take a look at this
Then, six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus was who had been dead, whom He had raised from the dead. There they made Him a supper; and Martha served, but Lazarus was one of those who sat at the table with Him. Then Mary took a pound of very costly oil of spikenard, anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil.
John 12:1–3 NKJV
Mary, a prostitute, gave what she treasured most to some stranger who she saw carried a certain anointing. She gave the very core of her wealth, something that shook both the heavenlies and the men of the world. Judas, who represents the fallen church said it was not worth it.
Just imagine this; Judas a man who walked with Jesus, a man who witnessed all the miracles and the dedication and consistency of Jesus had the guts to say that Jesus wasn’t worth the anointing from Mary. He was quick to say poor people were more important than Jesus. The man sent to redeem them.
But one of His disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, who would betray Him, said, “Why was this fragrant oil not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?” This he said, not that he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and had the money box; and he used to take what was put in it.
John 12:4-6 NKJV
Judas represents the Christians who say that men of God shouldn’t drive Range Rovers. They represent the sect of the Church that see it fit for corrupt politicians, pedophiles, rapists and Satanists drive private jets but the anointing should languish in poverty because they regard them as thieves.
Ironically, the same children of God will go back to God crying that they need dominion. But isn’t that shooting themselves in the foot? Take a very careful look about the people who speak ill about the men of God, they all end up like Judas, in depression and later to death.
Like Judas, they don’t care for the poor or for anyone else apart from themselves. They are narcissistic and self-centered and because of their self-centered selves, they divert many from the true anointing. Tell them to sell their wealth and give it to the poor. They always complain they do not have and are the meanest people alive.
Just like Judas, they are thieves, they only steal from the anointing. They want the same anointing to cover them when their folks get terminal diseases like cancer but are always speaking against it when life is all bliss. How do you pee in the same spring you want to drink from?
The Judases end up committing suicide. They commit suicide with their words, their tongues lead to their destruction. Ironically, they are always in lack. They are the ones in lots of loans and they think that they are mandated by God to expose anointings and warn people about men of God.
I love what Jesus said about caring so much for the poor than the anointing.
But Jesus said, “Let her alone; she has kept this for the day of My burial. For the poor you have with you always, but Me you do not have always.”
John 12:7-8 NKJV
There will always be poor among you. I hear stupid Christians saying, “We rather support a children’s home than buy the pastor a car.” Such blind statements kill me. It is because of this that the church has reduced itself to being an NGO; to support children homes and visiting the sick!
The church has belittled the anointing, to merely visit children homes and the sick? What will the Rotary Clubs, NGOs, Community Based Organizations, Youth and Women Groups do? The Church should be the pinnacle of the anointing. To raise the bar.
One should just step the Church grounds and get instant healing, instant blessings etc because of how potent the manifest presence of God is. People would flock to touch the walls Kathryn Cullman’s house and get healing.
In the Bible, Elisha remains still carried the potency of the anointing that a dead man fell on them and instantly came back to life. That is the position of the Church not competing with NGOs, not going to bed with the systems of the world.
Mary, represents the true Church, and the true child of God. So what did she get after? His brother, Lazarus who was dead was risen to life.
It was that Mary who anointed the Lord with fragrant oil and wiped His feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.
John 11:2 NKJV
The Bible has to say, ‘It was that Mary’ for a reason. The Bible doesn’t shy off from referencing what Mary did for the kingdom. And because what she did shook the heavenlies, because she knew that choosing the anointing is more honorable than choosing the poor, the heavenlies remembered her.
This is why she becomes a friend to Jesus and was always sitting at his feet listening to Him. Anointings have to be enticed and they have a price. This is why Jesus says
The Cost of Discipleship
Now it happened as they journeyed on the road, that someone said to Him, “Lord, I will follow You wherever You go.”
And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”
Then He said to another, “Follow Me.”
But he said, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.”
Jesus said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach the kingdom of God.”
And another also said, “Lord, I will follow You, but let me first go and bid them farewell who are at my house.”
But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”
Luke 9:57-62 NKJV
Do you see why you should never use the phrase, “Jesus fed the 5,000 but the 5,000 fed the 1”. You can never rob the anointing. The people who robbed the anointing like Judas went into depression and took their own lives. The took the lives of their jobs, families, ranks etc.
Don’t take your away your life. Never speak about ANY man of God. No matter what evidence you have or the Satanic media has, whether they are jokers, whether you watched a documentary on BBC etc. You never called them. They are not the common politicians you voted for. You do not know what special mercies they carry or how God uses them.
