This is perhaps the biggest question I asked myself for the better part of last year. Why? Because I saw a powerful prophet weeping. I saw heaven’s spectacle wailing and it was the only time I saw him do that. You can watch him through the video below.

What can make such a mighty prophet weep? A man who has removed and planted leaders of powerful nations. A prophet with an unmatched record of fulfilled prophecies. A prophet who not only just vaguely prophecies but would even prophesy the Oscars even before nominations were done and successfully say who is going to win?

This man entered into 2023 and prophesied most major occurrences in the world but on one particular day, he wept. We wailed in front of 12,000 people because God asked him a question that many wouldn’t feel its impact if they were the one asked. The Lord asked him, “Have the people walked in my light?”

He admits that he broke down in frustration and he never knew he bore those feelings before. He told God that he walked in his glory and he has demonstrated the life of God to this world. He told the Lord, “They are indifferent!”

He said to the Lord, “Lord, if it were me observing a prophet such as I am, I would have been much more serious.” He told the Lord that there is no way he would have seen such a prophecy and took it for granted and just moved on with life (referring to the remnants).

He said that he was frustrated when he realized that people were just taking the prophecies he was making for granted. The Lord told him to remain faithful and what he saw next was marvelous. He saw the whole globe turn unto him and the Lord told him that they were given another chance. He told him, “Go and awaken my people once again!”

He then told the Lord that, “We are going to be much more serious, we are going to carry your revelation and I am going to be more determined than ever before to demonstrate the glory of God.”

So when God asks, “Have my people..” He simply refers to His remnants. He refers to you! The question I am asking you today is, “Are you walking in the light of God?” Most people think that walking in the light of God means avoiding sin, reading the bible and praying everyday.

Most people think that walking in the light of God means listening solely to Gospel music, adopting the Christianese lingo of ‘Praise God, Amen’ and striving to be perfect in the flesh so that people may see that they are Holy. Well, that’s not it.

I have pondered a lot about this ministration and I asked myself, “Have I walked in His light?” I was disappointed in myself and I resolved, just as the prophet did to be more serious and more determined to demonstrate the glory of God and that’s why this blog and podcast exist.

The prophet was clearly disappointed that he has been making prophecies month after month, year after year but sadly the people took them as entertainment. It all ended in the realm of, “Wow, this is truly a man of God!” and “Wow, this is such a good and powerful prophecy, glory to God!”

The prophet expected remnants to take advantage of the prophecies that he was making. He expected remnants who have been listening to him week after week to not only marvel at his words but let those words become life to them. Most remnants forget that those prophecies are secrets for them to dominate.

A man of God once said, “When a prophet prophesies and notices that heathens (dogs) are the ones taking advantage of them and dominating, they stop prophesying.” Why? Because that food is meant for the children of God not for the dogs. Jesus puts is clearly when the woman who asked him to heal his son came to him.

Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it to dogs. And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table. Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

Matthew 15:25-28 KJV

And we have seen more heathens benefit from prophets sent to the children of God than the children of God why? Because they know what they want and they have more faith in the prophets than the children themselves. Just like Jesus, prophets have got no option but to release the blessing because they have great faith in a prophet sent of God.

Meanwhile, the children whom God has sent to them a man are caught up in meaningless gossip of discussions whether the man sent to them is truly a man of God. It was so disheartening that the prophet couldn’t disclose some prophecies at the first fellowship of the year because he noted a lot of dogs in the congregation ready to grasp and take action on prophecies said by the prophet.

The Centurion said to Jesus:

“Lord, do not trouble Yourself, for I am not worthy that You should enter under my roof. ⁷ Therefore I did not even think myself worthy to come to You. But say the word, and my servant will be healed. ⁸ For I also am a man placed under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”

Luke 7:6-8 NKJV

And you know what Jesus marveled at the man’s faith. He said that he had never seen such a man with great faith not even in Israel.

⁹ When Jesus heard these things, He marveled at him, and turned around and said to the crowd that followed Him, “I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!” ¹⁰ And those who were sent, returning to the house, found the servant well who had been sick.

Luke 7:9-10 NKJV

Meanwhile, children of God need explanations on miracles. They need prophets to explain to them how exactly they are going to get that job, on which day and time their miracle is going to happen and supporting evidences. They even end up narrating to the prophet how big their problem is and how miserable their lives are.

This was evident with Jesus in John 5

⁶ When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?” ⁷ The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.”

John 5:6-7 NKJV

Jesus simply asked if the man needed to be made well but this child of God needed to explain to God how hard it was to access healing. Today, remnants want to explain to the prophet how had their lives have been. They forget what the scripture says, “Remember not the former things.” They forget to fix their eyes on things above.

Again, I ask you, “Are you walking in His light?”

When a prophet says, “It is done!” Do you take it as, “That’s it from today, I will never lack! I have taken dominion over this or that?” or do you take it as, “Well, as for today certain things are done but I need to please God more for bigger things.” What does it really mean to you when a prophet says, “Says the spirit of the living God.”

The problem with most remnants is that they need more convincing and explanations because they are not sold into the life of God. They are not sold into Zoe. Sadly, they are sold into the knowledge of the world that has to explain concepts and theories so that they sound intellectually sound.

Their knowledge and intellect puffs up and they want their carnal knowledge to be in harmony with the things of the spirit. They want prophets to come down to their level and comfort them first because religion has blinded them to only scriptures of hope and comfort.

They forget prophets are bizarre people, they forget prophets are here to open doors, usurp power from heathens and prepare those thrones for the children of God. They want prophets to be like their pastors forgetting prophets are like generals in war who go ahead of their soldiers.

It is sad to see heathens being biggest givers of the anointing. It is devastating that a heathen should be the one that honors an anointing more than the remnant. This means that heathens will still be the one riding horses and remnants will be the slaves walking beside them.

This is the biggest frustration for a prophet; to see the children he was sent to still in slavery because they are constantly criticizing the anointing or are casually treating their messages as motivational speeches.

It is devastating for a prophet to create a great and effectual door and seeing only heathens walking through it but not remnants. It is so sad for a prophet to make a year praiseworthy only for him to see nothing praiseworthy in those he was sent to.

This is the year of crowing. He has set up remnants for coronation and it is will be heartbreaking to see that only a handful receive the crown of Gold and more receive a crown of wood or no crown at all. Are you ready for crowning?

For a minute put yourself in the shoes of the prophet. If the Lord asked you, “Have the people walked in my light?” How will you answer?

This year, let us do better as remnants. At this time, we shouldn’t be even be reminded of the greater call, the heavenly call. We shouldn’t constantly be reminded about giving or taking dominion, we should have it already.

This is the year that men of God should marvel and say, “I have never seen such faith in the whole of Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania etc..” This year, let mean of God have a praiseworthy report before God that the people have truly walked in His light.

This year, let us not have one foot in and one foot out in the world. Let’s make up our minds. Let us be totally sold out. If we die we die. Take advantage of these prophecies, let us remove our filthy garments of doubt, gossip and criticism and wear garments of faith, honor and a dominion mindset.

Let us be wild because prophets love wild grounds, wild hearts, wild faith, wild venison meat even in our service, let’s go yonder, above and beyond so that the kingdoms of this world become the kingdom of our Lord and that The Remnant Revolution sets the pace and we become the benchmark.

Again, do you want to prosper?
